Dave and Nate later did some flag-trading and are coming home with Mexico flags acquired at the Gold Cup. More picture trading as well. All in all, once we got out of the stadium the Mexico fans became quite friendly and everyone traded high-fives, handshakes, and cheers of "Good Game!"This has definitely been the best road trip ever. Rock music blaring, high on the win, we start the long drive home.

(Somewhere in Iowa) Not much happening on the trip home, just mile after mile of road. DVDs sustain us, "Black Sheep" in Illinois, and right now we're burning pavement to "The Office, Season Two." Funny stuff, and, I look nothing like Dwight ;-)

(2:19AM) After exactly 1,301 miles of road travel, we arrive back in Parkville, MO. Welcome back, us!
I love it that you all had such a great time, saw such a great game, and ended up being friends with fans from the Mexico team. That is what a great sports event is all about. This one will be told ad nauseum in the office, but I will listen to every word and wish that I had been there.

Hehe, I don't think any of us can sleep still. We're nearly to Park now, and ys we all had a great time. Lke I said, best trip ever. Now we need to top it! ;-)
