As a prelude to our trip to Chicago to watch the US play in the Gold Cup, my friends and I are taking in as many KC Wizards games as we can in the coming month. This was my first time attending a pro soccer game, tonight, and I had a lot of fun. The crowd was sparse, but enthusiastic, and we sat next to the loudest section in the stadium-- all Wizards fans of course :-)
FC Dallas had a couple of lucky shots early on, giving them the lead throughout the match. The Wizards' only goal came at the 90th minute. Overall though, the game was fun to watch with a couple of good opportunities raising the adrenaline, the usual taunting of the ref's lousy calls, and (despite the glaring sun at the beginning) some pretty good weather to be out watching the great game of soccer in!More Photos
